Job Summary:
We are looking for a Field Technician with hands-on experience in Ericsson LTE & 5G installation, commissioning, and integration. The resource will be responsible for executing site activities including new site builds, upgrades, and troubleshooting across telecom networks.
Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy to cell sites and perform installation, commissioning, and integration of Ericsson LTE & 5G equipment
• Perform activities on New Site Builds (NSB), Carrier Adds, and Indoor Systems
• Execute testing, integration, transport setup, alarms, power, grounding, SIAD, and E911 testing
• Conduct SRS call testing and 911 call testing
• Perform software loading, script execution, and configuration via laptop/tools as per Remote Integration Center guidance
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve field issues and alarms
• Conduct technical site surveys and prepare schematics
• Prepare post-implementation documentation and completion reports
• Support remote teams for troubleshooting when required
• Handle OEM equipment logistics (pickup, tracking, and reporting)
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper use of tools and materials
• Follow Ericsson installation standards and NTP guidelines strictly
• Assist in developing MOPs and procedures

Technical Skills & Experience:

• Experience in Installation & Commissioning:
  • DUS, DUL, BB5216, BB6630, BB6651, BB6672
  • DUL to DUS swap, DUS to BBU5216 swap
  • Extension rack installations (6101 / 6102 cabinets)
• Experience in Power Upgrades:
  • Power sub-racks addition, PCU upgrades, battery relocation, router installs
• Knowledge of cabling: RF, CAT5/6, Fiber, T1 Copper
• Hands-on experience with:
  • eNodeB / NodeB rehoming & reparenting
  • License activation and software upgrades
• Experience with telecom test equipment
• CRAN experience is mandatory
• Experience in Test & Turn-up activities preferred

Qualifications (Must Have):

• 2 3 years of LTE, CDMA, and 5G integration and Troubleshoot experience
• Experience with Telecommunication, Telecommunication (TMO), or Telecommunication (Telecommunication) preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and field execution skills

Certifications Required:

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (valid or willing to obtain)
• CPR Certification
• RF Awareness / RF Safety Certification
• Defensive Driving

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to lift minimum 25 lbs
• Willingness to travel and work at field sites
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer standards
