We are seeking a dependable, versatile, and self-motivated Field Technician / Handyman to support our growing remodeling team and help keep projects running efficiently.


Position Summary

The Field Technician / Handyman plays an important role in supporting active remodeling projects through a variety of field tasks including handyman work, punch list completion, material pickups, job site support, and light carpentry or repair work.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety throughout the workday, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work independently when needed.

The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, organized, professional, and comfortable handling smaller tasks without constant supervision.

This position involves travel between multiple job sites throughout the Louisville area.


Responsibilities

Field & Job Site Support

  • Complete handyman and punch list tasks independently

  • Assist lead carpenters and project managers with daily project needs

  • Perform light carpentry, trim work, drywall repairs, paint touch-ups, demo, and miscellaneous repairs

  • Help maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites

  • Assist with material staging and site preparation


Material & Logistics Coordination

  • Pick up and deliver materials from suppliers and vendors

  • Load, unload, and organize tools and materials

  • Assist with deliveries, dumpster coordination, and general project logistics

  • Identify and communicate material shortages or job site needs proactively


Team & Client Interaction

  • Represent High Bridge Development professionally at job sites and supplier locations

  • Communicate respectfully with homeowners, subcontractors, and team members

  • Help maintain a positive and solutions-oriented work environment


Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic carpentry, handyman, or remodeling experience

  • Ability to use common hand and power tools safely

  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude

  • Ability to work independently and stay productive throughout the day

  • Good communication and organizational skills

  • Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation

Bonus Qualifications

  • Residential remodeling experience

  • Punch list or warranty work experience

  • Trailer towing experience

  • Experience with trim carpentry, drywall repair, or paint touch-up work
