GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This position will serve as a full-time, on-site Field Technical Assistant based in a Cherokee Nation-owned community building, responsible for planning community events, facilitating outreach, liaising with Cherokee Nation programs and services, and ensuring compliance with building policies and procedures.
Job Duties:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Partner with organizational leadership to schedule, plan, and execute community events on a regular basis.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the organization and Cherokee Nation CCO, as well as other tribal programs and services.
• Organize and lead outreach initiatives to foster and strengthen local community engagement and participation.
• Coordinate volunteer opportunities and partnerships between the organization and the Gadugi Corps.
• Monitor and ensure that community organizations utilizing Cherokee Nation-owned community buildings adhere to all established policies and procedures.
• Maintain a consistent physical presence at the Community Building site throughout normal business hours.
• Support the development and implementation of programs and services that align with the needs of the local community.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to community events, outreach activities, and building operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); no exceptions.
• At least one (1) year of experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
