Longhorn Energy & Transportation LLC is seeking a skilled Safety Relief Valve Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the inspection, testing, and maintenance of safety valves to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards. This position involves working with various pressure relief valves in diverse industrial settings. 100% coverage of employee medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Responsibilities: Conduct pressure relief valve repairs in accordance with the National Board Inspection Code approved quality manual. Thoroughly complete all calibration and documentation related to testing and repairs. Operate equipment such as forklifts, sandblasters, parts washers, propylene torches, etc. Disassemble valves without damaging components as per the manufacturer's Installation & Operation Manual. Document and input job data into the database, including photographic evidence. Collaborate with office staff regarding repair needs. Keep a clean and organized workspace. Maintain equipment in the area as necessary. Perform cleaning, blasting, and painting of valve components.
Return valves/parts to their designated bins, boxes, etc. Assemble, calibrate, tag, and certify valves according to the manufacturer's repair manuals. May be required to assist with field assignments. May need to climb and work at various heights depending on the job requirements. Operate motor vehicles as needed.
