Position Summary

MacAllister CAT's Field Swing EPG works to service our customers with rental power generation units. 

Responsibilities

  • Lubricating, oiling, and maintaining equipment in the field at customer locations and may make minor repairs.
  • Complete a Field Risk Assessment on every work required.
  • Can perform Service Letter Updates (Caterpillar sourced) limited to less than one day and not needing a crane and or experienced computer diagnostics.
  • Can perform Load Banking up to 1250 KW.
  • Support EPG Field Technicians on larger jobs.
  • Ensure 100% safety compliance. Field Swing EPG will not be utilized in any Emergency Call rotation.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of Diesel Engine maintenance experience.
  • 1-3 years of Electrical Diagnosis and repair experience preferred.
  • CDL A.
  • DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain one.
