LCRA is looking for a Field Supervisor to lead substation construction activities within the transmission structural group! We build concrete foundations and structures, and erect steel buildings to the highest and safest quality. How You’ll Contribute:
Be the safety leader and establish safety procedures.
Direct and provide technical support for project execution, system priorities, and operating decisions in all situations.
Give detailed reporting of construction status to leadership.
Travel independently or with a small crew to substations, power plants, water systems, as scheduled.
How You’re Qualified:
Nine or more years of experience in electrical or mechanical equipment installation, maintenance or repair in a high-voltage environment or transmission line installation, maintenance or repair, including one year of leadership responsibilities.
A degree(s) in electrical power theory, electronics, instrumentation, controls, industrial or mechanical maintenance or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
Driver's license
How You’ll Stand Out:
Three or more years of leadership experience in a high-voltage environment.
Class A CDL.
