    Responsibilities

    ECS Limited is offering a unique opportunity for a talented and certified Field Services Manager to join our Allentown team. The Field Services Manager leads and manages field operations for construction materials testing services, ensuring efficient execution, workforce alignment, and overall performance of the field services group. This role is responsible for staffing, scheduling, quality control, and financial performance, while supporting project delivery and business growth. The Field Services Manager oversees Team Leaders and field staff, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining a positive customer service attitude and demonstrating ECS Core Values.

    Responsibilities

    • Leads, supervises, and mentors Team Leaders and field staff
    • Oversees day-to-day operations of the field services group
    • Ensures field operations are properly staffed, scheduled, and executed
    • Manages workforce planning, staffing levels, and recruitment needs
    • Oversees scheduling operations and ensures all project requests are fulfilled
    • Promotes and enforces safety policies and a strong safety culture
    • Oversees equipment calibration, maintenance, and inventory processes
    • Reviews field reports and may provide senior-level review of deliverables
    • Supports and assists with project execution, issue resolution, and technical challenges
    • Prepares proposals and supports project management activities as needed
    • Coordinates with Project Managers and Department leadership
    • Attends project meetings and supports client interactions
    • Drives business development, marketing, and client relationship efforts
    • Assists in monitoring and managing department financial performance
    • Performs other operational and leadership duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

    • 5 years of related experience
    • High school diploma or GED required
    • Maintain basic certifications and any advanced certifications necessary for the work performed as per the ECS Technician Certification Policy
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities
    • Strong understanding of construction materials testing and field operations
    • Ability to evaluate testing methods and results for specification compliance
    • Strong operational and organizational management skills
    • Ability to prioritize work and manage competing demands
    • Proficiency with electronic devices and MS Office
    • Ability to build and develop high-performing teams
    • Understanding of company systems and operational workflows
    • If driving for or on behalf of any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required
