Field Service Engineer III – Wisconsin TerritoryRemote role with 50% travel. Preferred to be based in Milwaukee, Green Bay or Madison; travel across Wisconsin and nearby states.This role supports advanced surgical imaging and guidance systems used in operating rooms to enable precision procedures and improve patient outcomes.ResponsibilitiesTravel to sites to provide efficient repair/installation support to all accounts within assigned area.Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify equipment.Perform maintenance and technical support on products, including integrated systems, subsystems, and software.Analyze and evaluate product performance.Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to eliminate problems in minimal time.Support future product integrations by performing upgrades and configuration updates.Lead and participate in product technical repair and clinical use training with domestic, international, and third‑party staff.Provide testing and validation support to the manufacturer's organization.Maintain accurate records of customer discussions, complaints, actions, root‑cause analysis, and resolution in the complaint tracking system.Minimum RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.4 years technician, clinical field service, or clinical customer support experience.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Bioengineering, engineering, or technology field.Previous experience as Technician/Field Services within medical device industry.Experience with orthopedic anatomy, surgical protocol, and medical terminology.Technical troubleshooting skills, creativity, and high discipline.Familiarity with test equipment (dosimeter, power supplies, DVMs, signal generators, flow meters, etc.).Ability to read and understand schematics and engineering drawings.Familiarity with FDA 21 CFR, CGMP for medical devices.Excellent analytical and communication skills.Responsive problem solver and action oriented in meeting customer requirements.Experience with x‑Ray systems, particularly mobile fluoroscopy or CT systems.Experience with robotics or motion control helpful.Equal Employment OpportunityMedtronic is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
