Field Service Technologist, Industrial Flow Solutions

Impact you will make
- Execute start-ups, repairs, and field retrofits to maintain equipment performance and integrity.
- Drive a proactive safety culture by reporting incidents and near misses promptly with an ambition of zero lost-time incidents.
- Partner with sales on technical walk-downs and customer calls; shape solutions that showcase Ingersoll Rand’s strengths.
- Deliver timely, accurate documentation—service and call reports, time sheets, and expenses—for seamless customer follow-up and billing.
- Streamline processes by suggesting improvements that speed response and boost data accuracy.
- Follow departmental standards to ensure best-in-class, consistent service.
- Apply laser alignment and vibration analysis to troubleshoot, balance, and test rotating equipment.
- Capture aftermarket opportunities and feed the CRM to expand visibility of our installed base globally.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant technical experience (millwright, maintenance, engineering, field service, or equivalent).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- The job includes an assigned vehicle, so the candidate must have a valid license and be able to pass a Motor Vehicle background check.

Travel and rewards
- Travel up to 80%, including possible international assignments, supporting customers’ 24/7 needs.
- Annual incentive plans provide additional earning potential.
Pay and benefits
Compensation range: $65,000–$85,000, based on experience, training, certifications/licensure, skills, and location.
