Role Responsibilities
In this position, you will install, align, balance, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment such as motors, pumps, and fans. You will focus on equipment sizes exceeding 200HP.
Your duties include:
Troubleshooting and testing electro mechanical equipment using various methods and specialized testing tools.
Verifying repairs through standard start up testing procedures.
Operating specialized equipment including laser alignment tools, portable balancing equipment, megohmmeters, and clamp on ammeters.
Utilizing various hand held power and non power tools for repairs and maintenance.
Maintaining a strict commitment to safety procedures and the use of proper protective gear, including respiratory, eye, and ear protection.
Following established procedures for requisitioning and changing materials and parts.
Candidate Requirements
We seek a candidate with a basic understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
A minimum of 3 years of experience troubleshooting and testing industrial electro mechanical equipment.
Proven experience in verifying repairs using start up testing procedures.
Educational background including a High School diploma plus trade school, vocational training, military experience, or on the job machine shop training.
A demonstrated ability to learn and retain skill related technical training and operational safety procedures.
This is a first shift position running from 6:30am to 3:00pm with ample opportunity for overtime after the standard 8 hour shift.
