Our organization is seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Field Service Technician to join our dynamic and growing team. This role is integral to ensuring the optimal performance of our cutting-edge engineering equipment and systems, providing on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services. The successful candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of engineering, including electrical troubleshooting, pneumatics, CMMS, motors, boilers, ladder logic, VFD, MIG, AC/DC, and schematics. This position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work with a diverse range of technologies and systems, contributing directly to our company's success and growth.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Field Service Technician, your responsibilities will include:

1. Performing on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks.
2. Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions.
3. Comprehending customer requirements and making appropriate recommendations.
4. Producing timely and detailed service reports.
5. Following all company’s filed procedures and protocols.
6. Cooperating with the technical team and sharing information across the organization.
7. Building positive relationships with customers, applying excellent customer care skills and sustaining professionalism at all times.
8. Adhering to safety rules and regulations, and ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard of quality.
9. Regularly checking and maintaining equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
10. Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role.
2. Proven experience and proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, pneumatics, CMMS, motors, boilers, ladder logic, VFD, MIG, AC/DC, and schematics.
3. Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
4. Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
5. Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules.
6. Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.
7. Technical degree or certification in Engineering or relevant field.
8. Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
9. Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.
10. Ability to keep track of and report on activity.
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
12. Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
13. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
