Job Title: Field Service Technician
Job Description
The Field Service Technician travels extensively across the United States to install, commission, service, and repair robotic and industrial automation systems. This role focuses on troubleshooting and optimizing Rockwell PLC and FANUC-controlled equipment, including robotic palletizers and case packing machinery. The technician reads, interprets, and modifies existing code to resolve issues and enhance system performance, while providing on-site support to manufacturing customers. The position requires heavy weekday travel with the assurance of being home every weekend.

Work Environment
This role operates within a robotics and automation-focused environment that designs and builds custom automated packaging, material handling, and vision-guided robotic systems. The technician primarily supports manufacturers seeking to increase throughput, reduce labor dependence, improve consistency, and optimize production lines. Typical systems include robotic case packing, palletizing systems, vision inspection and verification systems, direct food-handling automation, autonomous vehicle and material movement solutions, and fully integrated packaging lines and end-of-line automation systems. The position involves heavy weekday travel anywhere within the United States, with the expectation of being home every weekend. Travel logistics, including lodging, flights, rental cars, and fuel, are supported through a company credit card. A daily meal per diem is provided based on IRS guidelines, with a flat incidental rate for full travel days and a partial rate for the first and last day of travel. Work is performed on customer production floors and industrial facilities, requiring comfort around large automated machinery, robotics, and controls equipment, and adherence to all site-specific safety and attire requirements.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $52.00/hr.
