What we are looking for:- Experienced Industrial Electronic Field Service Technician w/an electro-mechanical background.

Job Duties:
Performs troubleshooting of PLC’s, HMI’s, Motion Controllers, AC/DC drives, and industrial devices for Innovative IDM customers.
On-site troubleshooting and electronic repair of simple to complex production machinery
Installation and start-up of industrial control systems
Participate in a rotational “On Call” after hour call service
Work with both internal and external customers.
Performs field retrofits and start-up services of large-scale complex control systems.
Possesses a “do whatever it takes” mentality to service and repair products to meet the needs of the customer.
Researches and resolves difficult technical service situations in a calm, professional and efficient manner.
This is not an IT role.
Requirements
Must have 3-5 years of experience troubleshooting industrial electronic controls to include relays, contactors, solenoids and control logic.
Must have the ability to read and understand electrical-electronic schematic diagrams.
The skill required to troubleshoot, repair, and program AC VFDs and DC motor controls.
The ability to troubleshoot PLC’s and Servo motion controllers.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-starter who works independently and is self-motivated.
Exhibits creativity and tenacity to troubleshoot and repair all types of electronic and industrial devices.
Manages multiple projects and timelines with a sense of urgency.
Strong organizational, analytical and decision-making skills.
Electrical/electronic ACAD and PLC programming experience is a plus.
Four-year degree preferred.
Must possess applicable hand tools.
