Field Service Technician, Center Pivot Irrigation & VFD Panels

Join our client’s field service team supporting NCI in the agriculture irrigation market. From wiring brand-new pivots to troubleshooting telemetry in the field, your hands-on expertise ensures reliable irrigation across local farms. This is a direct hire position based out of the company's Beloit location.

Your impact

• Perform preventative maintenance, service, and installations on center pivot irrigation systems.
• Wire and test new and used irrigation equipment to spec.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues, including standard and VFD pump panels.
• Build and repair center pivot systems with accuracy and reliability.
• Communicate positively with customers, building valued, long-term partnerships.
• Handle field demands: climbing, carrying tools, and operating a mini excavator.
• Utilize knowledge of pivot control panel function and system telemetry.
• Work independently on assigned projects and manage time effectively.
• Stay current by attending meetings, sales events, and training on new technology and equipment.

Your toolkit

• High School diploma or GED (required); trade certificate programs (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record to drive company vehicles.
• Familiarity with the agriculture industry and irrigation systems (preferred).
• Several years of prior experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of 480V three-phase power, a multimeter, and basic hand tools.
• Proficient with laptops and Microsoft Office.

The practical details

• Schedule: Full-time day shift, generally 7am – 5pm, Monday–Friday, depending on job sites.
• Compensation: $25 – $35 per hour, depending on experience.
• Location: Work out of the company's Beloit location.
