Field Service Technician - Alliance, Ohio - JOB 26-00006

Pay Range: $27.00 - 36.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits

Alliance, Ohio area equipment manufacturer is hiring for an experienced Electrical - Mechanical Field Service Technician who can perform the following: Assembly, Equipment Installation, Troubleshooting, Start-Up, Commissioning, Inspection, and Maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Hands-on experience working as a Field Service Technician servicing Industrial Bulk Material Handling Equipment, Conveyors, Overhead Cranes or other Lifting Systems.
  • Able to read and understand mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, installation and troubleshooting manuals.
  • Perform assembly, equipment installation, troubleshooting, start-up, commissioning, inspection, and maintenance.
  • Proficient in the use of Electrical / Electronic Test Equipment and use metrological instruments such as micrometers, hand and power tools.
  • Candidates must be able to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including AC and DC electrical systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspect mechanical and electrical systems on material handling systems and overhead cranes.
  • Work safely and efficiently at heights of up to 100 feet.
