Position OverviewWE ARE HIRING A ON-SITE 3RD SHIFT FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN IN Columbus, OH!This is a 3rd shift on-site position with the hours consisting of Sun - Fri 11:00 pm – 7:00 am. The position is off Saturday and Sunday.The Field Service Technician will provide support to our customers and deliver on all services and offerings under Entrust contracts. The technician performs both preventative and emergency maintenance and ensures equipment at customer sites is in proper working order. The technician performs the accountabilities detailed below and other duties as assigned.Total RewardsMedical Benefits from day 1Up to 4 weeks paid time off accrued within the first year.6 paid company holidays + 6 paid floating holidays401k with up to 6% company matchAnnual Incentive Program (bonus)Fleet vehicle program for applicable positionsResponsibilitiesElectromechanical Emergency and Preventative MaintenancePerform high‑quality preventative and emergency maintenance services on Entrust equipment.Work independently to test, diagnose and resolve issues on systems including mechanical embossers, thermal image application and laminating, magstripe and chip data writing, and ultraviolet curing.Day‑to‑day repairs:Clean rollers, sensors, cavities, and other components as required.Calibrate sensors, data read/write devices, and application pressure.Evaluate/replacement of parts for wear and misalignment (servo & stepper motors, spindles, clutches, belts, bearings, etc.).Evaluate/replacement of temperature, proximity, and position sensors.Software adjustments for temperature and hardware positioning.Use repair and service manuals to troubleshoot card printer systems.Use test equipment such as voltmeters and laptops.Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, etc.Maintain accurate and proper trunk inventory levels.Follow established processes for service activity reporting and call management.Accept, organize, and respond to service calls using a dispatch system.Drive to customer sites daily to provide service and maintenance as applicable.Customer InteractionInteract with customer operations staff.Be consistently reliable and timely, displaying a positive attitude.Demonstrate customer‑relation skills that enable independent resolution of most situations without management assistance.Continuously improve customer relations.Adjust to customer culture in communication, dress code, and compliance with behavioral standards while modeling Entrust values.Learning and DevelopmentParticipate in company‑sponsored personal development and quality initiatives.Complete all company training and development courses required by Entrust.Develop competency in required applications to confidently use diverse software and systems needed for operations.Assist less experienced personnel with difficult repair problems.Commit to continuous improvement by sharing ideas, problem‑resolution successes, and suggestions on process improvement.QualificationsBasic QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED or equivalent.Minimum of 2 years of electromechanical technician experience.Proficient problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.Proficient with PCs, current operating systems, and relevant software applications.Ability and willingness to drive to multiple customer sites daily for assigned work.Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, shifts, assignments, and travel when required, including temporary off‑site short‑term assignments in other locations.Willingness to be on‑call.Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and spend the majority of the shift bending, stooping, and walking.Valid and active driver's license; insurability if applicable for the role.Overtime is required as needed.Additional QualificationsAssociate's degree in Electronics or related field or equivalent verifiable training.Additional electromechanical technician or field service experience.Entrust central issuance.Advanced technical education.Proficient in electro‑mechanics, digital electronics, and software required to maintain Entrust and third‑party products.Skilled with tools and electronic test equipment.EEO StatementEntrust Corporation is an EOE/AA/Veteran/People with Disabilities employer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
