As a Field Service Supervisor, you will perform the general duties of a Service Technician and be responsible for general supervision of designated technicians within his/her service area.
Job Duties:
Routinely performs the normal duties of a Service Technician
Performs the common administrative functions required of personnel in a supervisory capacity
Coordinates with Territory Service Manager or personnel at main office to schedule installations. Assigns and performs installations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment changes or modification through various resources such as training seminars, maintenance manuals, and service bulletins, or engineering documents, as well as individual research and other correspondence
Responsible for knowing and complying with all service policies and procedures
Keeps Territory Service Manager informed of all significant problems and progress of resolutions
Supervises, coordinates, assists, and trains Service Technicians and PMPI Technicians
Endeavors to maintain good employee morale, enthusiasm and cooperation
Promotes preventive maintenance programs for present and future customers and scheduled same
Makes periodic “courtesy calls” for all new customer locations to develop good rapport, constantly striving to provide outstanding service and ensure customer satisfaction
Responsible for timely return of warranty parts in his/her service area
Ensures proper inventory levels of pars and supplies are maintained in all service vehicles and warehouses
Comply with and ensure all team members comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, DOT, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Associates Degree from a two year college or technical/trade school
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a field technician in a related area
Minimum of 3 years’ of Industrial Mechanical, Pneumatics, PLC experience
Minimum of 3 years’ of Electrical Experience - including 3 phase
Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to train, organize, lead, and motivate a team to succeed
Clean driving record with no more than three (3) moving violations within the past 5 years; no more than two (2) preventable, at-fault accidents within the past 5 years
No impaired driving convictions within the past five (5) years and no charges currently pending
Intermediate computer skills and email communication
Experience in the vehicle washing industry, preferred
Physical Requirements:
The ability to lift up to 50lbs. is required, with the ability to occasionally lift up to 75lbs., preferred
Must have adequate sight to read blueprints and other engineering documents and/or work orders and other field service documents
Target Salary Range: $27.75 - $38.00. Actual compensation is determined by experience, education, and geographic location.
