Purpose:
The Field Service Supervisor supports the Service Department by managing customer service needs, overseeing work order processes, and coordinating the pre-delivery, repair, and reconditioning of new and used equipment. This role ensures smooth daily operations of shop, field service, and delivery functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with customer service and ensure timely resolution of service-related inquiries
Assists in opening and closing of work orders to ensure timely closing to meet company goals
Assists in scheduling shop assignments, field service work, and truck requirements for pickup and delivery of equipment.
Assist with field service work order WIP management by opening, reviewing, and costing service work orders
Assists in the appraisal and quotes of repair work coming into the shop and discusses with the service manager the service required, both in parts and labor.
Assist Service Management with maintaining field service support vehicles.
All other duties assigned
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
2+ years of experience in service operations, with supervisory experience preferred
Strong organizational and customer service skills
Knowledge of equipment repair and reconditioning
Ability to manage multiple service functions effectively
