  • Perform crewed and uncrewed vessel operation and maintenance in domestic and international locations
  • As needed, provide quayside and offshore support for PowerBuoy deployment preparations, deployment and recovery
  • Provide technical customer support for WAM-V products
  • Participate in global customer delivery and training
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues with WAM-V systems and perform minor field modifications as required
  • Assist with the packing, shipping and receiving of boats and equipment to and from operations in the field
  • Prepare as-built documentation, packing lists, and quality control records
  • Follow operational and manufacturing best practices for the marine environment and robotics systems
  • Design, set up, and maintain dedicated workstations, manufacturing jigs, and tools

Required Qualifications

  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally for deployments lasting 1-4+ weeks at a time, including occasional short-notice assignments
  • Approximately 3 years of hands-on experience with mechanical and low voltage systems
  • Proficiency with small hand and power tools
  • Familiarity with marine mechanical and electrical assemblies
  • Experience operating and maintaining small boats in coastal environments, including docking, trailering, routine maintenance, and safe vessel operations. Minimum of 2 years of boating experience preferred
  • Current state-sponsored Boater Card, or ability to study for and obtain one
  • Ability to operate independently and take ownership of tasks and outcomes while exercising sound judgment and recognizing when to seek additional support or guidance
  • Demonstrated professionalism, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset; able to remain calm, effective, and solution-focused in demanding field environments
  • Valid U.S. Passport
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with IP-based networking, including device configuration, network troubleshooting, and communications systems used in remote or autonomous operations
  • Experience supporting prototype development and testing through electromechanical assembly, machining, welding, and hardware integration
  • Familiarity or experience with uncrewed systems
