A day in the life
Morning flight, afternoon tool check, evening handoff: as a traveling reliability pro, you arrive on site ready to keep high-speed distribution and packaging systems online. You’ll move from preventive tasks to rapid troubleshooting on conveyors, robotics, drives, sensors, relays, and other MHE. When an issue pops, you isolate faults quickly, perform safe/effective repairs, log it in the CMMS, and partner with operations to prevent repeat events. Between calls, you manage parts and tools, support system upgrades, and champion a safety-first culture.
What you’ll do
Execute preventive and predictive maintenance on automated conveyor systems, motors, sensors, relays, and robotic subsystems.
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues to reduce downtime and stabilize throughput.
Assist with installations, retrofits, and upgrades for automated packaging and distribution equipment.
Document work, parts usage, and findings in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and equipment reliability.
Steward tool control, spare parts, and inventory accuracy.
Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment; stand and move for extended periods; occasionally lift up to 49 lbs.
What you’ll bring
2+ years with automated conveyor systems and controls.
2+ years repairing material handling equipment (MHE).
