Position Overview We are seeking experienced Field Service Millwrights with reciprocating compressor experience to support maintenance, overhaul, inspection, installation, and troubleshooting activities at customer sites throughout Texas, Louisiana, and other locations across the United States. This is a full-time field service position supporting pipeline, midstream, gas processing, petrochemical, refinery, LNG, and industrial customers. Candidates must be willing to travel and work at customer facilities as project requirements dictate. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience performing major overhauls and repairs on reciprocating compressors commonly manufactured by OEMs such as Ariel, Cooper-Bessemer, Worthington, Clark, Ingersoll Rand, Dresser-Rand, Gemini, and Superior.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, inspect, clean, repair, and reassemble reciprocating compressors.
  • Perform inspections and measurements on crankshafts, connecting rods, crossheads, pistons, piston rods, cylinders, distance pieces, packing cases, compressor valves, and lubrication systems.
  • Perform mechanical installations, alignments, and startup support activities.
  • Read and interpret OEM manuals, engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Complete inspection reports, check sheets, and daily field documentation.
  • Support outage, maintenance, commissioning, and emergency response projects at customer sites.
  • Maintain tooling, equipment, and work areas in accordance with company standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of industrial millwright or compressor maintenance experience.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with reciprocating compressors.
  • Experience with OEM equipment such as Ariel, Cooper-Bessemer, Worthington, Clark, Ingersoll Rand, Dresser-Rand, Gemini, or Superior.
  • Strong understanding of compressor frame inspections, rod runout measurements, valve maintenance, packing replacement, and compressor overhaul procedures.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

  • Petrochemical compressor systems.

Travel Requirements

  • Must be willing and able to travel extensively throughout Texas, Louisiana, and the United States.
  • Must be available for overtime, weekends, holidays, and night shifts when required.

Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Ability to pass DISA drug screening requirements.
  • Ability to pass DISA hair follicle testing requirements.
  • Clean and professional work history.
  • Valid drivers license.
  • TWIC card preferred; candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a TWIC card if required by customer facilities.
