We are hiring for a Field Service Engineer in the Wixom, MI area. (Located about 30 Miles NW of Detroit)
Base salary range starts at 80K, relevant to experience and education.
Required:- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- Understanding of PLC's, VFD's, electrical troubleshooting, controls, wiring, pumps, motors.
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management & clients.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks, have excellent attention to detail, and be willing and able to learn new technologies quickly.
Preferred:- Water/Waste-Water Treatment plant experience HIGHLY preferred
- 2- 4 year electrical engineering degree
Job Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting of PLC's, instrumentation, and motor control devices such as variable frequency drives and reduced voltage starters.
- Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
- Tie workflow to schedule
- Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
- Produce timely and detailed service reports
- Document processes
- Follow all company's filed procedures and protocols
- Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
- Build positive relationships with customers
This is a SERVICE job. You will be provided a laptop, digital meter, fuel card, company vehicle and servicing water/wastewater treatment plants typically within a 2 hour radius of Wixom, MI
