We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer<\/b> specializing in Mammography<\/b> to join our clients growing team of technical experts across Arizona. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and safety of diagnostic imaging equipment used in healthcare settings. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of mammography systems, with additional experience in other imaging modalities such as X -ray being highly advantageous. You will serve as a key technical liaison between the company and healthcare providers, delivering timely, high -quality service that supports patient care and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is a self -starter with strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to excellence in customer service. This position offers the opportunity to work independently in diverse clinical environments while contributing to the advancement of diagnostic imaging technology and patient outcomes.<\/span>

Primarily Monday thru Friday normal business hours occasional evening and weekends.

Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/h3><\/div>
  • Perform on -site installation, preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibration of mammography imaging systems in compliance with manufacturer specifications and regulatory standards.
    <\/li>
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues with diagnostic imaging equipment in high -pressure, time -sensitive environments.
    <\/li>
  • Conduct routine system verifications, image quality assessments, and compliance testing to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety and quality benchmarks.
    <\/li>
  • Accurately document all service activities, including diagnostics, repairs, parts used, and test results, in accordance with company quality management and compliance protocols.
    <\/li>
  • Maintain and calibrate test equipment used for system verification and performance evaluation.
    <\/li>
  • Submit detailed and timely field service reports using company -approved systems and formats.
    <\/li>
  • Collaborate effectively with account managers to communicate service status, equipment history, and recommendations for corrective actions.
    <\/li>
  • Manage and safeguard company -owned tools, diagnostic equipment, and spare parts to ensure readiness for all service calls.
    <\/li>
  • Stay current with evolving technologies, regulatory changes (e.g., FDA, ACR, MQSA), and manufacturer updates related to mammography and other imaging modalities.
    <\/li>
  • Travel to multiple customer sites across Arizona, including occasional overnight stays and air travel as needed.

    Requirements<\/h3>

    <\/div>
    • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or technical certification in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Radiologic Technology, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field preferred.
      <\/li>
    • Hands -on field service experience<\/b> with mammography imaging systems<\/b>.
      <\/li>
    • Proven experience in X -ray systems<\/b> or other medical imaging modalities<\/b> (e.g., CT, MRI, Ultrasound) is a strong advantage.
      <\/li>
    • Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and repair complex diagnostic imaging equipment.<\/b>
      <\/li>
    • Strong understanding of imaging system physics, radiation safety, and quality assurance protocols.
      <\/li>
    • Proficient in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment.
      <\/li>
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non -technical stakeholders.
      <\/li>
    • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license; must be willing and able to travel extensively within a 4 -hour radius<\/b> and occasionally fly for assignments.<\/b>
      <\/li>
    • Physical ability<\/b> to lift up to 75 lbs., stand, walk, and to use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms; work in confined or elevated spaces during service calls.
      <\/li>
    • Commitment to maintaining a high standard of professionalism, customer service, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
