The position involves daily network operations, including equipment installation, commissioning, circuit/node turn-up, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Ethernet, IP, and transport infrastructure.
The engineer will interact with customers, technicians, and support teams, performing "on call" duties as needed.
Qualifications include knowledge of telecom equipment (e.g., Cisco, Ciena), at least 2 years of experience, and familiarity with industry test sets and power systems. Preferred skills include industry-related education, advanced test equipment operation, and independent work capability.
