Visit informatechtarget.com and follow us on LinkedIn.For more information, visit informatechtarget.com and follow us on LinkedIn.Job DescriptionThis role is based in our Portland, OR office.About the RoleThe Field Marketing Operations Manager plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between marketing strategy and execution, ensuring field marketing initiatives are effectively planned, promoted, and optimized across ICP.Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Coordination & Sales ActivationAssist in managing logistics, planning, and execution of regional events, trade shows, and customer engagement activitiesDesign pre-event, during-event, and post-event sales activation strategies to maximize ROICoordinate event-specific messaging and materials that enable meaningful sales conversationsDevelop event follow-up processes and tracking to ensure timely engagement with qualified leadsImplement measurement frameworks to track event-driven pipeline and revenue impactOperational Efficiency & Technology IntegrationOwn and drive innovation for all aspects of marketing campaign management to be aligned with overall marketing and sales objectivesDevelop and optimize marketing campaign processes to increase scale, drive efficiency and conversions through data-driven insights and integrated tech-stack, including developing nurture campaigns aligned to firm priorities for lead generationOversee the implementation and optimization of marketing automation tools and CRM systems for field marketing activitiesPerformance & LeadershipLead cross-functional initiatives by establishing KPIs and driving business results. This includes but is not limited to partnering with sales teams, product marketing, and regional marketing managers to align field activities with business goalsMentor and support team members on field marketing best practices, account-based marketing, and sales alignmentGenerate regular reports on marketing activities, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field3-5 years of experience in marketing operations or field marketing rolesProven track record in campaign management and marketing analyticsStrong understanding of marketing automation platforms and CRM systemsFamiliarity with digital marketing best practices and measurementOrientation with event-based sales activation strategies and executionExcellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneouslyData-driven mindset with experience in performance measurement and reportingOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsExperience working with distributed sales and marketing teamsDesired SkillsExperience with marketing automation platforms (Marketo, HubSpot, Eloqua)Knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics)Familiarity with project management methodologiesUnderstanding of digital marketing channels and integration with field activitiesProven success in event management and results trackingAdditional InformationThis position requires a strategic thinker with strong operational skills who can translate marketing vision into actionable field programs that drive business results, with particular emphasis on maximizing the sales impact of event investments.Salary range is $100k-$120k based on experience.We believe that great things happen when people connect face-to-face.
