Up to $100,000 Base Salary + Company Vehicle • Johnson Creek, WI Area • On-Site & Field

 

  • COMPENSATION: Up to $100,000 Base Salary (scaling directly with troubleshooting depth) + Assigned Company Vehicle + Full Corporate Benefits Package

What You Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities)

  • Serve as a Field Maintenance Technician: Handle machine service, emergency repair calls, retrofits, and equipment upgrades across Southern WI and Northern IL using an assigned company vehicle.
  • Execute Heavy Electrical Diagnostics: Troubleshoot control circuits, electrical panels, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), motor control centers, and automated safety interlocks.
  • Diagnose Mechanical & Fluid Power Systems: Repair pneumatic and hydraulic circuits, valves, cylinders, and mechanical drive assemblies across diverse industrial machinery.
  • Utilize PLCs for Advanced Troubleshooting: Connect via diagnostic software to trace live I/O, identify fault conditions, and assist with system commissioning (with direct cross-training into logic editing).
  • Interpret Technical Prints: Read multi-page electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints to isolate issues rapidly and safely on-site.
  • Partner directly with clients, maintaining clear, professional communication to resolve technical downtime efficiently.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications)

  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing, machinery service, or automation setting (open to lower tenure for candidates who pass a technical assessment).
  • Electrical Troubleshooting Depth: Strong background in panel wiring, schematic interpretation, motor controls, VFDs, and diagnostic testing.
  • Fluid Power & Mechanical Competency: Solid hands-on understanding of hydraulic circuits, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
  • PLC Diagnostic Ability: Experience utilizing PLCs for system troubleshooting is highly preferred; full PLC programming experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn controls is key.
  • Education & Skills Balance: No degree required; electro-mechanical troubleshooting mindset, physical aptitude, and strong work ethic are prioritized above formal diplomas.
  • Proximity & Licensing: Must reside within a 45-minute drive of Johnson Creek, WI, possess a valid driver's license, and hold US Citizenship or a Green Card.
