Field IT Support Technician OverviewProvide technical support for retail technology systems, including point-of-sale (POS), pharmacy, photo kiosk, and inventory management systems. Perform preventive maintenance, software updates, hardware upgrades, and equipment replacements to ensure reliable system performance. Install and configure new technology equipment, including POS terminals and related peripherals. Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues while minimizing operational downtime. Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams, including help desk personnel, network engineers, and software developers. Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, maintenance activities, and inventory. Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting store operations and ensuring technology equipment remains operational.
