Compensation
Pay Range: $29 - $40 per hour (Minneapolis, MN)
About the Role
A mid-level Field Engineer (FE) position is available in the Minneapolis, MN area. This field-based role is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, calibrating, and performing preventative maintenance on diagnostic imaging equipment across various sites. Candidates must be located in or near Minneapolis.
What You'll Do
Install diagnostic imaging equipment safely, effectively, and efficiently.
Perform preventative maintenance and calibrations according to equipment specifications and industry standards.
Communicate with on-site personnel to understand technical issues and maintain strong professional relationships.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and service multiple products across one or more imaging modalities.
Provide technical and application-related guidance to internal teams and escalate issues when needed.
Enhance product knowledge and technical skills through formal training and hands-on experience.
Complete accurate and timely service documentation, including reports, part orders/returns, timecards, and expenses.
Maintain clear and timely communication with colleagues and management.
Qualifications
Education
Two-year post-secondary degree or certificate in electronic technology, or equivalent training.
Experience
Minimum of three years of relevant work experience, ideally within the digital imaging field or a specific imaging modality.
Experience servicing diagnostic imaging equipment preferred; CT experience is a plus.
Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Strong competency using hand and power tools.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
