Job Summary
The IT Field Support Technician is responsible for providing operational support and handling Install, Move, Add, and Change (IMAC) requests across office environments, reservation centers, and airport locations. This role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, customer service expertise, and the ability to support a wide range of IT infrastructure needs.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical service and customer support during field visits and dispatched assignments.
  • Diagnose hardware, software, and network-related issues and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Produce timely, accurate, and detailed service reports.
  • Document processes, procedures, and technical resolutions.
  • Collect and analyze performance data to provide technical assistance and recommendations.
  • Manage workload and tasks according to established schedules and service requirements.
  • Accurately document solutions related to complex technical issues.
  • Develop and implement workaround procedures when standard processes fail, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot and develop technical solutions related to software, hardware, and system setup issues for field engineers, technicians, and end users.
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships through professional support and communication.
  • Follow safety guidelines and utilize ladders when required to perform installations and support activities.
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting IT infrastructure in enterprise environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to document technical issues and resolutions clearly.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in field support environments.
  • Ability to lift equipment and safely use a ladder as required.
