We are seeking a Project Engineer with outstanding communication skills and field experience, who will assist the Construction Manager and Assistant Construction Manager (ACM) in the daily management, reporting, communications, operations, coordination, and general administrative needs of projects assigned. Individuals must be able to manage multiple tasks, exhibit strong organizational skills, and have a basic understanding of the design and construction process.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
Minimum one year experience in construction and/or construction management. Preferred two (2) years or more. Preference for educational and/or public works projects in California
Knowledge/experience working with State agencies or Division of the State Architect preferred
Knowledge of construction management procedures
Familiarity with construction contract documents
Knowledge of industry best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & Bluebeam. AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp is a plus for non-stamped sketches/drawings
