Field Cost Accountant (FCA)Field-Based | Travel RequiredAbout the RoleWe are seeking a Field Cost Accountant (FCA) to support project operations by managing cost tracking, procurement, and on‑site coordination. This is a hands‑on, field‑based role that works closely with Project Managers to ensure projects run efficiently, stay on budget, and meet contractual requirements.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys fast‑paced environments, problem‑solving, and being directly involved in project execution ‑not just behind a desk.What You'll DoProject Cost & ReportingTrack and manage all project costs (labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors)Prepare daily cost reports (EPA 1900 / RCMS) and maintain accurate financial dataSupport budgeting, forecasting, and cost visibility for project leadershipProcurement & Vendor CoordinationSource vendors, obtain quotes, and manage purchase orders, service agreements, and change ordersPerform cost analysis and support vendor selectionEnsure compliance with procurement processes and policiesOperations & Field SupportCoordinate personnel, equipment, and site logisticsProvide day‑to‑day administrative and operational support to field teamsMaintain documentation and ensure compliance with safety and reporting requirementsTeam CollaborationPartner with Project Managers and field leadership to support project executionAct as the go‑to resource for project tracking, reporting, and coordinationWhat We're Looking For2+ years of experience in administrative, accounting, or project support rolesStrong Excel and Microsoft Office skillsExcellent organization, multitasking, and communication skillsAbility to work independently in a fast‑moving, field environmentWillingness to travel and work on project sitesPreferredExperience in construction, environmental, or field‑based projectsKnowledge of cost tracking, procurement, or accounting processesWork EnvironmentField‑based role (job site trailers and active project locations)Exposure to outdoor conditions and active construction environmentsTravel and potential relocation depending on project needsWhy This Role?This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on project experience across cost management, procurement, and operations.#J-18808-Ljbffr
