FULL DESCRIPTION: The Field Applications Engineer (FAE) serves as the primary technical liaison between the company and its customers. This role supports customers by understanding requirements, providing pre- and post-sales technical support, and ensuring successful product integration. The FAE partners with Sales, Product Management, R&D, and Customer Service to deliver solutions that drive customer satisfaction and business growth.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Technical Support & Customer Engagement
- Act as the main technical contact for customers
- Provide pre- and post-sales support
- Analyze customer needs and recommend solutions
- Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and training
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Product Integration & Development
- Support product integration into customer processes
- Work with engineering and R&D on customized solutions
- Ensure products meet customer requirements
Product Knowledge & Insights
- Maintain strong knowledge of products and PCB/CCL applications
- Stay current on industry trends and competitors
- Gather customer feedback to support product improvements
Collaboration
- Partner with Sales to support new business opportunities
- Work with Product Management and R&D to align with market needs
- Communicate across teams to resolve customer issues
Documentation & Training
- Create technical documents and training materials
- Provide training to customers and internal teams
The selected candidate will also possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 2-5 years of engineering experience, including 2+ years in a customer-facing technical role
- Experience in PCB/PCBA/Semiconductor experience and manufacturing required
- Experience with failure analysis preferred
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Clear communication skills, both technical and non-technical
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Customer-focused with strong accountability
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50%
Salary Range: $110-145/year + annual bonus
