Job Summary:
The Field Application Engineer is responsible for driving adoption of the company's products and services by influencing architects, engineers, and construction (AEC) firms at the design and specification stage. This role serves as a trusted technical advisor to AEC stakeholders, working to embed the company's solutions into project Basis of Design, specifications, and standard details, thereby creating commercial pull-through.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
PowerSecure's products, solutions, and services.
Develop and maintain relationships with design engineers, specifiers,principals, and technical decision-makers.
Position PowerSecure products, solutions and/or services as a preferred or sole-source solution where those opportunities are viable.
Technical Advisory & Design Support
Provide technical consultation during concept, schematic, and detailed design phases.
Assist AEC firms with:
System selection and sizing
Performance modeling and trade-off analysis
Code compliance and standards interpretation
Value engineering alternatives aligned with project goals
Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure alignment with company offerings.
Basis of Design & Standards Development
Work with engineering firms to incorporate PowerSecure products,
solutions and/or services into master specifications and replace competitor or legacy technologies in firm basis of design standards.

This position is remote.
Frequent travel may be required for training or meetings.
Must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate different time zones
(Central/Eastern/Mountain/Pacific), if necessary.
