Fiduciary Accountant position requirements are:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in fiduciary accounting, trust and estate taxation, or public accounting.
- Demonstrated experience preparing Form 706 Estate Tax Returns.
- Proficiency with tax preparation software and Microsoft Excel.
Fiduciary Accountant position responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and assist with federal estate tax returns (Form 706), including asset valuation schedules, supporting documentation, and tax calculations.
- Calculate fiduciary accounting income and principal allocations in accordance with governing documents and applicable law.
- Collaborate with attorneys regarding estate administration, trust administration and tax planning.
We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Fiduciary Accountant with an entrepreneurial law firm in the Roseland, NJ area. This is a hybrid opportunity, three days in the office and two from home per week following the first 60 days on site.
