Position Summary
Leads small crews and performs advanced fiber optic installation, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting while ensuring quality and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead crews of 2-4
• Plan daily work, sequence tasks
• Validate fiber test results and documentation
• Walk jobsite with supervisors/owners
• Support warranty documentation
• Perform mechanical and fusion splicing
• Conduct OTDR and power meter testing
• Build MDF/IDF rooms and fiber management
• Patch management standards
• Basic networking concepts (patching, VLAN awareness)

Required Qualifications

• 4–6 years structured cabling experience
• Proven leadership capability

Preferred Qualifications

• BICSI Installer 2 — Fiber (INSTF)
• Fusion splicing certification
• Manufacturer fiber training
• Networking fundamentals training
