Feedmill Housekeeper

Primary Purpose

Responsible for the day-to-day housekeeping tasks including the removal of dust from ledges, floors, equipment and other surfaces. Must always use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) for each task. Responsible for compliance to all company policies and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.

This position is for 1st Shift working 12-hour shifts, 6A-6P Monday- Friday and alternating weekends monthly.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform routine housekeeping in all areas of the Feed Mill.
• Sweep and clean assigned areas daily to control dust accumulation and clean feed spills.
• Keep floors free from spills and debris.
• Dispose of scrap and waste in the proper receptacles.
• Monitor all pits for cleanliness and schedule cleaning as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 0 - 2 years'' relevant experience.
• On-the-job training which includes forklift and skid steer training.
