We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and various types of delivery equipment.


Duties


  • Load and unload products efficiently, ensuring all items are secured for transport.
  • Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary to facilitate the loading and unloading process.
  • Deliver packages to customers in a timely manner, providing exceptional customer service during each interaction.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding any issues or delays encountered during deliveries.
  • Proficient in time management skills for performing timed deliveries and pick-ups.
  • Proficient in reading maps and understanding GPS.
Qualifications


  • Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job.
  • Familiarity with using delivery equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts is advantageous.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Must be able to pass any required background checks, drug screens, and driving assessments.
  • Must be 21 years old.
