Federal UI / Full-Stack Engineer

Ideal Candidate: React-focused product engineer with real-time application experience, consulting DNA, and an interest in building AI-enabled user experiences for federal customers · AI Product Experience – Experience building copilots, conversational UIs, workflow-based applications, or agentic AI experiences aligns directly with Thoughtworks' roadmap.

Position: Federal UI / Full-Stack Engineer
Location: DC metro area
Duration: Long Term contract 

Must be able to obtain & Maintain TS/SCI 

· Strong React / TypeScript Foundation – This is a frontend-first role requiring deep expertise building modern user interfaces and component-based applications.
· Real-Time Application Development – Experience with WebSockets, SSE, streaming data, event-driven interfaces, and responsive user experiences is highly valued.
· Full-Stack Integration Skills – Ability to connect frontend applications to APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms while maintaining performance and scalability.
· Testing & Engineering Excellence – Strong background with Playwright, Cypress, Jest, TDD, and modern software delivery practices.
· AI Product Experience – Experience building copilots, conversational UIs, workflow-based applications, or agentic AI experiences aligns directly with Thoughtworks' roadmap.
