As a Manager in Tax Compliance, you will play a pivotal role in managing and implementing tax compliance strategies for our clients. You will provide comprehensive support in tax compliance and reporting, including tax provision, direct and indirect tax returns preparation, and tax reform calculations, all while leveraging standardized processes and leading technology. Your efforts will focus on streamlining and optimizing compliance and reporting processes to align with business strategy, increase efficiency, and promote transparency. Additionally, you will encourage the development of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks, and help shape operating models that support alignment with governing tax regulations and business objectives.
Your key responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the effective management and delivery of one or more processes, solutions, or projects, ensuring a strong focus on quality and effective risk management. You will drive continuous process improvement, identify innovative solutions through research and analysis, and apply your expertise to guide others and recommend quality solutions.
The position presents the challenge of leading workstream delivery, tracking project status, and managing engagement economics, all while actively participating in client working sessions and leading workstreams from planning through closure. You'll learn to navigate complex tax environments, develop solutions to intricate problems, and recommend changes to policies and procedures that impact your team and potentially the broader business function
