Description

Chevo is currently hiring a Policy Management Analyst to join our expanding firm to join our DHS Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency Sector Management (CISA SM) team. This position provides the opportunity for significant client interaction. The ideal candidate will have a strategic research background and experience working with a federal agency, drafting and implementing policy, and facilitation of senior executive level cross-agency meetings. This position offers a hybrid work environment, with the client site located in Arlington, VA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Policy Analysis

  • Rapidly understand the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agencys (CISA) organizational structure and the nuanced policies and executive orders that shape the agencys priorities.

  • Research, analyze, and draft strategic written products to support policy implementation.

  • Coordinate with CISA Stakeholder Engagement Division (SED) stakeholders to gather, analyze, and communicate key data findings.

  • Write clear deliverables (e.g. briefing packages, reports, etc.) tailored to a variety of federal and private sector stakeholders.

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Strategic Communication

  • Coordinate with internal staff and client personnel at various organizational levels.

  • Support the development and distribution of various deliverables for federal and private sector stakeholders.

  • Analyze, synthesize, and convey complex information in succinct client deliverables.

  • Prepare DHS-style tailored briefing materials for senior leadership to support the facilitation of stakeholder meetings such as briefing memos, agendas, presentations, talking points, etc.

  • Draft carefully written, polished products free of spelling, grammatical, and formatting errors.

  • Strategize opportunities to enhance coordination internally and externally accounting for the clients evolving priorities.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship (mandatory for federal engagement).
  • Active Public Trust Clearance.
  • 5-7 years of professional work experience.
  • Bachelors degree in business, Public Administration, Public Policy, Political Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and audience-tailored content.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to present a polished and professional image to clients.

Preferred:

  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Previous experience with Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), specifically Sector Risk Management Agency or Infrastructure Risk Sector related work
  • Previous experience in consulting, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, program evaluation, or related role.
  • Experience in technical writing.
  • Active DHS/CISA Entry of Delivery (EOD) clearance.

SALARY RANGE: $107K - $115K (subject to change)
