The Office of Energy promotes the efficient use and responsible management of energy in the state. It helps maximize Louisianas energy potential by exploring all energy sources and by reducing current energy consumption through education, energy-use studies, and demonstrations of energy-efficient technologies.
This position is located within the Office of Energy in Baton Rouge, LA. The Federal Energy Program Manager is a senior-level program manager responsible for assisting the Statewide Program Manager 2 in the administration and execution of federally funded energy programs.
Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in a physical, biological, or environmental science, engineering, computer science, or a business-related field plus four years of experience in natural resources management, environmental science, computer science, or administrative services; OR
A masters degree in a physical, biological, or environmental science, engineering, computer science, or a business-related field plus three years of experience in natural resources management, environmental science, computer science, or administrative services; OR
A doctorate in a physical, biological, or environmental science, engineering, computer science, or a business-related field plus two years of experience in natural resources management, environmental science, computer science, or administrative services.

Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
