We are seeking an experienced Federal Superintendent to lead on-site construction efforts for a high-security SCIF renovation project in Lakewood, NJ. This role requires a hands-on leader with Department of Defense (DoD) project experience who can manage complex federal construction contracts while ensuring compliance with strict security and safety standards. Description Site Supervision: Oversee all on-site construction activities for a SCIF renovation project within a larger $50M federal contractSchedule Management: Manage day-to-day field operations, subcontractors, and scheduling to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budgetQuality Control: Coordinate with project managers, government stakeholders, and inspectors to maintain compliance and quality controlSafety Compliance: Oversee safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards (OSHA 30 required)Documentation: Manage contracts ranging from $500K to $15M+, ensuring proper execution and documentationTeam Leadership: Provide leadership, mentoring, and direction to field teams to ensure operational excellence Profile 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent, preferably on federal construction projectsDirect experience with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Navy, or other DoD agencies requiredExperience working on SCIF projects strongly preferredBackground in occupied hospital renovations or similarly sensitive environments is highly desirableComprehensive knowledge of general construction, including renovation, ground-up construction, and site developmentProficiency in construction/project management software (RMS, Procore, P6, MS Project, etc.)OSHA 30 certification (minimum requirement)Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance or higher (DISCO)Eligible for access to military installations and able to pass full background screening Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex, secure environments Job Offer Competitive Base Salary: up to 150K (commensurate with experience)Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus paid in MarchBenefits: 100% employer-covered benefits Mileage Reimbursement: Paid at IRS-approved rateWork Flexibility: Primarily on-site with limited flexibility for remote workCareer Growth: Opportunity to join a growing NJ-based team with long-term project pipeline and advancement potentialProject Stability: Immediate involvement in a multi-phase, high-profile Naval project MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
