Join Our Team at Tallahassee State College FDOT Instructor Opportunity  Tallahassee State College is excited to announce openings for the position of  FDOT Instructor at the Florida Public Safety Institute. We're looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community.   What You'll Do The Florida Public Safety Institute is looking for Law Enforcement Traffic Oriented Instructors to teach any of the following FDOT Tuition Free Courses: Basic Traffic Homicide Investigation Advanced Traffic Homicide Investigation Traffic Homicide Reconstruction Crash Scene Mapping with Speed Lasers Speed Measurement Course Speed Measurement Instructor Course Breath Test Operator Instructor Agency Inspector Instructor  Potential Instructors should be comfortable teaching the Traffic Homicide, Speed Measurement Courses, Breath Test Operator, and Agency Inspector Courses.   Who We're Looking For We're seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate must: High school diploma or equivalent. Instructors MUST have their Current FDLE General Instructor Certification, Speed Measurement Instructor, or Breath Test Instructor Certifications.  Knowledge of the following: State of Florida Criminal Justices Standards and Training rules and regulations. The selected individual must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills; sound judgement; problem solving skills; and possess positive motivational skills.    FDLE Instructor Exemptions may be made on a case by case basis if you qualify. Work Schedule:  Hours may vary  Why You'll Love Working Here At Tallahassee State College, we're not just shaping the leaders of tomorrow - we are committed to fostering the growth and development of every team member.
