Job Description: Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post harvest treatment of crops such as working with bins and augers to load carts and trailers; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as milo, cotton, wheat, hay; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to employer's fields, load employer's crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags in close proximity to the farm; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; speak and understand Eng Anticipated Hours of work per week: 55 hours weekly. Schedule: Monday - Friday (10 hours). Saturday (5 hours). 7AM-6PM. Pay: $15.79 hourly. Paid weekly. Effective 1/1/24, overtime must be paid after 48 hours worked per week, or 56 hours worked per week for up to 22 "peak weeks" for highly seasonal employers, after 54 hours worked per week for non-highly seasonal employers, and after 56 hours worked per week for small employers.
