Position: Farmworkers and Laborers, crop, nursery and greenhouse Requirements: Certification/license requirements, Driver requirements, Drug screen, lifting requirement 75 lbs, Exposure to extreme temperatures, Extensive pushing or pulling, Extensive sitting or walking, Frequent stooping or bending and Repetitive movements. Ability for verbal and written instructions and directions. Job Description: Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment including manual labor like shoveling; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Identify plants, pests, and weeds to determine the selection and application of pesticides and fertilizers; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as pit packing tractor, plastic Nuflex layer, tillage tool to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to employer's fields, load employer's crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags in close proximity to the farm; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Maintain inventory; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Attach implements using hand tools; Anticipated Hours of work Per Week: 40 Hours Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am to 4pm Anticipated period of employment: 03/01/2025-12/1/2025 Application deadline: 07/16/2025 Job Location: Johnstown, Colorado Pay: $17.84/hour, paid Weekly.
