Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new business through networking, referrals, and lead generation activities
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients
- Assess clients insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
- Prepare and present insurance quotes and proposals
- Close sales and meet or exceed production goals
- Maintain relationships with existing clients through regular follow-ups and policy reviews
- Stay up to date on industry trends, products, and regulatory changes
- Collaborate with account managers and service staff to ensure excellent customer experience
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and agency management systems
Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) and/or Life & Health insurance license (required or willingness to obtain)
- Proven sales experience (insurance or financial services preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with CRM systems and basic computer applications
