Gardening, Lift/Move 50 Pounds, Property Maintenance
Assists in performing custodial and various farm duties in an indoor and outdoor setting, as assigned by the supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Notifies supervisor of problems/difficulties in performing job duties.
- Cleaning out pens/paddocks and facilities.
- Feeding and caring for livestock (goats, sheep, pig, horses, chickens, ducks, etc.) and small animals.
- Moving and refilling feed, hay, and other supplies and materials.
- Assisting with general property maintenance — pruning plants, snow removal, moving compost, etc.
- Tending gardens on property — planting, weeding, harvesting, spreading mulch, watering, etc.
- Performs additional related duties as requested by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform medium to heavy manual labor, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to understand instructions given by supervisor.
- Flexible; able to accept changes in job duties.
Physical aspects may include but are not limited to lifting up to 50lbs.
