Job Description

Reynolds Homestead in the Forest Resources and Environmental Conservation at the College of Natural resources & Environment is currently searching for a Farm-Forest Manager to support the Reynold Homestead FRRC in development, installation, and completion of projects and maintenance of facilities.

Required Qualifications

Knowledge of forest management, forest biology, plant ID, especially trees, and ecosystem relationships. Ability to read and understand complex instructions relating to research. Ability to pay attention to detail and keep accurate records. Ability to set priorities, work independently, and follow schedules. Exhibit mechanical, electrical, and plumbing knowledge and ability to diagnose and repair equipment failures. Knowledge of farm machinery and skill with power tools. Ability to be a team player. Previous forestry or related research experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience. Pay Band 2 Overtime Status: Non-Exempt Eligible for overtime Appointment Type: Restricted Salary Information Hours per week: 40 Review Date: January 19, 2026
