Bon Secours Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine or Med-Peds Physician (MD/DO) to join the outstanding team at Laburnum Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia.

For more than 50 years, Laburnum Medical Center has provided exceptional, compassionate care to families throughout Eastern Henrico County. This is an outstanding opportunity to build a thriving outpatient practice with an organization that values physician wellness, collaboration, and clinical excellence.

Practice Highlights
  • 100% Outpatient Practice
  • Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • 36 clinical hours with 4 hours of protected administrative time weekly
  • Shared call rotation (approximately 3 days per month)
  • No hospital responsibilities
  • No prescription call
  • Telehealth and e-visit capabilities
  • EPIC electronic medical record
  • Average of 18-25 patients per day after ramp-up

Join an Exceptional Team

Become part of a collaborative and experienced primary care practice featuring:

  • 6 Physicians and 1 Nurse Practitioner, with two additional physicians joining the team
  • Care for patients of all ages-from pediatrics through geriatrics
    • Approximately 30% Pediatrics
    • Approximately 70% Adult & Geriatric Medicine
  • Dedicated 1:1 CMA/LPN support
  • On-site laboratory, X-ray, and point-of-care testing
  • In-office procedures including joint injections and women's health services
  • Integrated Behavioral Health Specialist (LCSW)
  • Clinical Pharmacist providing diabetic education three days each week
  • Strong culture of teamwork, mentorship, and physician collaboration

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will possess:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited U.S. Family Medicine or Med-Peds Residency Program
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
  • Eligibility for Virginia medical licensure
