Our mission is to empower residents by building on their strengths through comprehensive, quality services that meet the current needs of the community; innovation that anticipates future needs; and advocacy to improve the community as a whole.Responsibilities Outreach and Recruitment of ChildrenAssess needs of center-based families, facilitate referrals and follow-up of referralsDevelop and maintain linkage with community agenciesAccompany center-based parents to fair hearing and other related appointments as interpretersAssist with meetings, workshops/training and special eventsAssist with Policy Council parentsAssist with the implementation of the program evaluation processProvide support in implementation of parent volunteer programAttend meetings, workshops on and off siteParticipate in supplemental training as requiredWork with the parents of children with special needs, attend case conferences and do follow-upsMaintain confidential child files with complete and up to date data/documentationComplete all written documentation in a timely mannerAssist in the classrooms when neededMaintain a small home visiting caseload of pregnant womenMaintain a small home visiting caseload of children birth to three years oldPerform general office dutiesPerform other duties as assigned by supervisorQualifications Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Human Development or related field with knowledge of child development (birth to three) requiredExperience working with children and familiesSpanish/English preferredComputer SkillsWork Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm, 35 hours per weekWe are committed to building a diverse and inclusive community.
